Power steering leak

Ok I have already replaced my high pressure line on my pump cus that was leaking on me a while back. Looks like the lower is only $20 in town here. I will definitely use PB Blaster, I have plenty left over from when I put my lift on my truck.

so... curiousity has got the best of me. I am needing to replace my stock PSP on my 89 f150 302 and was reading up on this Cardone 20-6244 and come to find now they have discontinued it. Then more research someone had discovered the new Cardone 20-7272 would replace the 6244. So I am curious as to how/if it is possible to swap or what I should do to replace mine and what I would need. Yes I have searched and only to find old threads with outdated products.
And Cardone Reman has replacement pumps for my exact vehicle so I dont know what to do...
