Well if I'm reading the schematic right, Your WHT\LG wire should be the wire coming from the PCM to light it up, but I've never been very good at electrical.
The leftmost circuit in this diagram is the entirety of the tow/haul switch/light wiring. It is a simple push button signal to the PCM with a light controlled by the PCM.
I have an ‘03 F250 SD 7.3 Powerstroke that has the same issues. The previous owner spliced a different wire harness into the shifter and the wire colors are different. Does the schematic apply for my truck as well? Did they keep the same shifter in the 04s?
