Backup Light

So my Truck was originally equipped with a manual transmission. The previous owner installed an automatic with a floor shifter.

So since the reverse light with an auto is on the steering column shift (which I do not have) what are my options other than installing a manual switch?

Try and install a jury rigged switch somewhere under the truck?

The automatic shifter dosen't have a provision for a back up switch on it? Most floor shifters have that built on them now. Maybe they make a reto kit out there for your shifter to mount a neutral safety switch and back up switch.

It is a B&M shifter. I did not notice anything when I was under it today. I will have to have another look.

Just went and checked B&M's online catalog. Looks like I am out of luck. Looks like I have the Unimatic and it does not have a provision for a backup light switch.
