I've done the search thing about adding cab lights. I picked up a set of take offs on ebay but have not acquired a harness. It appears that there are two harness part numbers commonly referenced. 7C3Z-15A404-BA and 7C3Z-15A404-AA. One is for the sat radio and one is not. My truck does not have a sunroof but does have curtain airbags and sat radio.
Obviously someone installed cab lights in a 2011 using the factory harness. Did you use either of these part numbers? Is there is a different number for our trucks with airbag wiring in the harness? Could I just get one of these two harnesses and add it instead of replacing the factory wiring?
I recently installed cab lights on my truck...well back in June. I think I have the same configuration you do, no sunroof, sat radio and curtain air bags. The harness is the sat antenna, air bags and cab lights and is a direct replacement.
Unfortunately, I can't find the part number of the harness I got. I looked high and low for my invoice and can't find it. I went back into my partsguyed account and pulled up my past orders and it didn't show the part number. When I placed the order, he did ask for my VIN. If you call your Ford dealer parts dept, they may be able to give you the part number.
Good luck with your install. The first hole is the hardest to drill.
I have sun roof, sat radio, and side airbags but I don't think the sun roof has anything to do with it. Only sat radio and side air bags are important in the grand scheme of things.
List price was $62.38 but I got it from the dealership for $54.65 including tax.
