I'm actually in the auto glass biz-----any van from 1992 to at least 2005 will work. The glass by itself shouldn't cost more than $65 from a good scrap yard-----less if you have a Pick n Pull nearby.
Scrap yards will ask the year only because there was a solar feature added to OEM glass from 1997 onward. If you have A/C get the one for your year; without A/C it doesn't matter.
Hey Allen! The solar designation is strictly in the glass composition-----there is nothing that affects the size or shape of the glass.
Absolutely every van made from 1992 through at least 2009 has the exact same front door glass. Any model like E150, E250, E350, E450 and up are all the same as far as your affected door glass.
If its helpful there something called a NAGS number---for your van it would be DD8015 or DD9094. Those are nationally recognized and used numbers in the auto glass replacment biz with the only difference being the DD9094 has the "solar" feature. You can't really see this difference so which ever one you can find for the best price will work just fine.
From 1992 foward nearly every E Van had tinted glass so that makes your hunt easier. Don't let the "solar" designation bother you-----its irrelevent for your needs.
