I tried searching but coulndnt really find what I was after.
Looking to light my truck up, putting those amber rectangle lights under the front bumper, rear bumper (red for brakes), under the sides, and cab lights.
Anyone like any specific types of light or pics of how your trucks look at night?
Lastly, on the wiring the red ones with the brakes, would it work to splice it into my trailer brake lights?
I would def recommend using LED bulbs to reduce the draw on the light switch as well as they'll put out better light. I have seen kits for tailgates but not for the front or sides, except the dually fender lights.
Cab lights are easy and cheap, I installed them on my Chevy I had.
That sounds like it would be a good spot to wire them in. except if you ever wanted to tow a trailer. I'd say wire them in to the trailer hook-up for now. See how you like them then maybe wire them into the rear lights to retain use of the trailer light hook up in the future.

Could I splice it into it? Rather then making it direct? So the trailer still works?
To be honest, i wouldn't splice into the trailer wiring. That wiring always hangs down and gets the worst of the road salt/rain/snow/mud/squirrel you name it. I'd either plug it into the trailer port or splice in into the rear lights where the wires and splices are tucked up in the bedsides.
