turck died

Help for friend.. I be-leave he has a 05 6.0 that has stopped running..
I own a 02 7.3 and over the last year have gotten familiar with some of it parts.

dose the 6.0 use the same parts as the 7.3, like ipr, icp. i can use as a starting point.

as soon as i find out what he has tried i will be asking for some help..

What other things should i be looking at ?

I have A.E. and will run a test as soon as i see the truck.
Thanks in advance...

Obviously codes will help you and you already know that if you have an AE. There's a great No Start thread in the Tech Folder.

Yes the 6.0 has those components. I don't know much about the 7.3. But you should see minimum 500 PSI on the HPO ICP sensor to start. That's .8 volts if you are looking at the voltage. The IPR duty cycle will be > 75% during cranking (with < 500 PSI ICP) if you have a leak.

If you aren't getting pressure it may possibly be the STC fitting on the HPOP. They notoriously go out on the 05's. Cheap part at about $55 - $60.
