Hello folks. I know this is an old thread but thought I would see if any of you could somehow post a link to the template file if still available.
Thank you.
Here's my 2 cents worth..
my headliner rear panel recently came out of the clips that connected it to the main panel. This was due to warpage from humidity. It was fine when I got the truck just months ago. Heat, humidity, lots of both. It finally bent down enough to keep me from sitting upright so I gently removed just that panel although the main panel is warped badly as well. My plan of attack is to go to Staples with the files and have them printed. I'll then lay them yon my old panels (64). I can let you know if they work or how much to add or subtract from any edges to make them work. It should be close.
Thanks for everyone who provided the PDF files and updated this thread!!
I removed the fallen/drooping piece after this for safety sake.
I am debating on sound deadener because anything butyl based may be a problem when suspended. I am thinking about the heat affects of the Florida sun. As it is, the edge of the gauge is oozing out. Then there is the off-gassing effects. I did a 53 chavy sedan delivery and it always stunk on hot days. Ideas, preferences.
I put Killmatt in my 66 before I replaced the headliner. It made a huge sound difference. I also cut my headliner out of FRP, and it is much stiffer, and seems to not have the sagging issues even when the clips came loose.
The forum thread: FRP headliner step by step talks about a pattern for the 64 so I guess there is more than one available out there. I have a pattern for the 65-66 or something like that.
