Electric wiper motor replacement question

The pivots you have now appear to be the ones sold by Carpenter, and that are inadequately described in their catalog. I almost ordered them until I talked with their guys on the phone. What they are selling is replacements for the new kits that use a modern motor hanging down, with a long linkage back up to the pivots.
The originals have stops on them that limit pivot motion to ~45 deg either side of vertical.
I don't know if you can tie the two pivot assemblies together like stock, but it would be a good idea. With a near-dry windshield, there is a lot of force on the system.

Well, I went ahead and modified/shortened the pivot arms as described above (DS: 0.87", PS: 0.796"). The pop metal was easy to modify, and came out pretty clean. I drilled the shortened arms and punched the original pins back in, and tack-welded them to make sure they would not work their way out. I adjusted the linkage lengths some (bent the PS and straightened the DS) to ensure the pivot arms did not get close to 0deg or 180deg, to limit the risk that momentum would allow them to go too far one way or another.
The wipers seem to work well; I am pleased with how they turned out.

When I purchased my 1952 F1 it came with a 12 volt wiper motor The Guy I got it from said it was a swap meet find. It is exactly like my 6 volt set up with the duel transmissions and the wiper park switch. It is made by Bosch and the part number on the motor is WWB12B. The date code on the motor is from 1971 I have searched the internet looking for another one with luck. Just wanted you to know that there must be more 12 volt wiper motors out there somewhere. Good luck...

Wiper motor
I couldn't get the motor to work in my 51 F1, so I purchased a wiper motor assembly from a 2000 Jeep Cherokee.
I rebuilt the linkage and pivots to work with the Jeep motor and test fitted the assembly. Seems to work well. Bought a 2 speed wiper switch with a variable speed feature for intermittent wipers - haven't tried that yet.
Here are photos.
Hope this helps.

Thanks! It does help.
Ross, I got the Trico wipers, arms and pivot repair parts you had recommended and now the driver side arm slips on the pivot.
Looks like I'll be drilling and installing a set screw in the arm. I want to get all the mechanical bugs worked out of my truck BEFORE I start disassembly for body and paint.

Scotty's 52 F3
What I have is the whole wiper assembly, it is exactly like the 6 volt assembly that was in my 1952 F1. The only difference is the motor is 12 volt. I pulled out my 6 volt assembly and directly installed the 12 volt assembly. These pictures are of the assembly I removed, Part number on the 6 volt motor is BB6 the assembly I installed in my truck is exactly the same except the part number on the motor is WWB12B.

Ive have held off on any comments because I really don't know much about my wiper motor other than I recently had it out when I rewired my "51' F1 and It was in the truck when I purchased it. The truck was 12 volt when I purchased it, as it remains now. It looks exactly like the original 6 volt setups and the one 1bigrat posted. I don't have any pictures of it, but Im looking further into it tomorrow. Curiosity has my interest now.
