I came to a stop sign and started to pull off and truck just died. now it wont start at all anyone know what may have happened my battery and all That is right. it just wont fire. it turn and turns but no start. timing chain. or something. any ideas. im on the side of the road this sucks
Can u hear the fuel pump run when u turn the key on? my 88 did the same thing. Checked for spark and had no spark. Replaced the ignition module still wouldn't start. Went to pull a part picked up a like new coil and the relays gthat mount on the side of the air box. Got home changed the relays and its been runnin ever since.
If u can't hear the fuel pump id say prob relays. There are two relays on is for fuel pump and the other is ignition. When mine went bad I had no fuel pump and no spark
Side winder ur thinking to new 87 to 91 only had two relays in a small box that's not marked. The 92 and newer had the ford marked box mounted separate from air box about 8 or so inches long with relays and several fuses inside it.
