Ever seen such a Frankenstein? Pics are up!
I am now in possession, after 4 months of work here and there, of a 1989 Ford F250 XLT Lariat with a 351w. But wait there's more! The ZF5 speed was swapped for a 4 speed from an 89 1 ton diesel. The clutch set up? Mechanical. Straight axle swap? You bet there is. If you don't think this happened, you're in for a real treat. Pics tomorrow afternoon when I've got some free time. Because I know, Pics or it didn't happen.

Dude, plain and simple, that's what me and an uncle of mine thought when we were discussing doing it. We pretty well drew up everything and thought, this is definitely do-able. And all he could say when we got it done tonight was, "Davey boy, this is the best idea I've ever had." It might not be the prettiest truck, but it sure is a tough one!

Its very easy to put a diesel trans behind a 351. The 4 speeds had seperate bellhousings, the trans were the same. Just had to swap the bellhousing
