Daytime Running lights

Does anybody know if it is possible to disconnect the lights from being on all the time the truck is running to just coming on with the switch inside the cab? I've heard there is a module that needs to be unplugged but I can't figure out where it is and If anybody has any pictures of it, that would be great. Thanks.

I just like having the running lights on during the day and headlights at night. I don't need them on all the time...

James, there is a small cage right behind the drivers headlight. Just disconnect the wire going into the switch behind that cage

Ken, I believe I see the cage... Does it have a few hard lines going into it on the top? I see a wire going into the back of it near the battery. Is this the one you are talking about?

This is the DRL resistor. If you don't have fog lights you can just pull fuse #12 in the underhood fuse box.

Pic taken while battery was removed.

If you add fog lghts you will need to add a relay and if you fuse it separate then removing the DRL resistor/fog light relay fuse is the best and easiest way to disable the DRLs.
