Will I be hurting anything going from 3" all the way to the stack kit up to 5" vs. doing 4" after my 3" down pipe to the stack kit? Are there gains/losses with going one or the other?
I'll only be running stage 1 injectors and a custom tune eventually. For now its just the 6pos ts tune with stock injectors.
It won't hurt you... I would personally open it up but if you think about it the stock pipe is 3 1/2" but only after the cat which is pretty close to where you will be getting up through the bed anyways...
Long as you get rid of the flat downpipe, i think it won't really matter what you do for that couple of feet after that to the stacks...
this is mu 5in cat delet hooks right up to my 3in dpthan in to 5in elbow, up threw the bedin to 5in t pipe, ( 2 5in elbows with backs cut out and weilded togather)in to 2 6in miter cut coal rollers lol
I got it. I just did 4" after the down pipe to 5" stacks. someone already had stacks in the bed tho and the hole is kinda back to far so it doesnt sit nice against the bed. Gonna have to oblong the hole some
Jpg96...That truck makes me like stacks. With that sticker and sittin low on the cab. I usually hate em. I seen a guy at work today with stacks so high i dont know how it fits under powerlines.
