I tend to disagree. I have a 2010 GT that came with 19 inch wheels and a modest tire size.......I cant remember the size tire right off but not a low profile sized tire. I went to a 20 inch wheel with a low profile tire......There was no suspension change at all and there was a quit noticable difference in the quality of the ride! So I know that if there are no suspension changes that a low profile tire rides like crap compared to a regular tire, as the original poster of this thread can say the same thing I am sure.
What are you disagreeing with? Wheel/tire combination are matched to the suspension which is matched to the vehicle. You stated you altered from that & got negative results. So you went from a softer tire to a firmer tire without altering the suspension. What would the expected results be?
I guess disagree was the wrong thing to say!
My truck is lowered and rides good with the tire and wheel combination on it right now and Im not planning on going any lower. I stated that I would like to have the boss wheels that the OP has for my truck and he agreed that they would look good but I wouldnt like the ride. He is correct. The smaller the tire size you go the worse the ride will be on any FINAL suspension setup. I know if I put those wheels and tires on my truck right now the ride will be worse, thats all Im saying.

Exactly William! I have low profiles BUT i have a seriously altered suspension. You are running the same suspension just lowered. The same tires will work best for you. Lots of sidewall giving more give when stressed in the curves. The taller tires are best for your setup. They will give you a softer ride and best handling per your suspension seup.
