I made a post earlier this week about some wheels that I was going to get. I went to get them this morning and the guy at the tire shop told me they had some new wheels they got in that were aluminum and not chrome like the other wheels I was going to get, they are a very cool looking wheel and I think they look alot better than the other ones I was going to get. They are MB Motorsports 16x8. They were only $87.00 for each wheel and with install it only came to $393.00 click on the links to see the pics of them on my truck and let me know what you guy think.
YAH! Sweet! They compliment the truck big time! JMHO They will fit my truck too. Let me borrow them & I'll get back to you as to when I'll bring them back!
They fit the look of the truck...very important when putting a rim and tire combo on the older rigs. Can't say what I think when I see 20"+ rims and rubber band tires on the vast majority of vintage vehicles, especially trucks.

hmmmm... But a bit it's something a bit stronger then "yuck"???? The new artsy looking wheels and rubber band tires certainly have their place in the world of cars and trucks, but IMO it sure as heck isn't on a bumpside pickup!!!!!!!!
The "right" wheel and tire combination will make or break a build.... As 68bluebeast has done, it is far better to pick a wheel and tire combination that compliments the rest of the truck rather then basing your selection on trends and fads......
That's why it is better to buy something that isn't quite the "In" thing when you buy it...especially when it comes to items that are pricey and will be with you awhile; big **** wheels with spinners, lowrider pickups with removable/convertible tops, air shocks on Novas with their noses almost perpendicular to the ground (green lights on each side of the diff or on the traction bars, too if you are from Cleveland), furry 'pimp' interiors, diamond tuck, murals on vans. All automotive trends most would like to forget, no?
wow those wheels are amazing! night and day difference between the photos i saw the other day. and those chrome unique ones you posted where the ones i was thinking of getting. i have been kicking the idea around about getting wheels but havent done it yet because they are unnecessary item. but when you love your truck it doesnt hurt to look good.
