u-joints
Please tell me if this is this correct or not.
For me to replace my u-joint on my rear end of my truck.
In the haynes repair manual for my 1979 f150 (woody flat bed custom built by me).
That by removing the bolts and tapping on the flange, will loosen the shaft ?
Will the flange move back to the rear axle and or the driveshaft will move forward?
I am reading from the shop manual as this is my first time replacing the darn u-joint on this truck.
Please help!
