4r100 Tips
Hey Krewat,
I read somewhere in this website that you are the man when it comes to the 4r100. My 4r100 from my 01 X just dropped second gear. From what I've read it sounds like that wonderful mechanical diode they used in 01. So, I'm probably looking at a rebuild and I'm looking for tips. Any advice on where to get a rebuild kit or unexpected things inside the 4r100. Thanx in advance for your help!

From the transtar website it looks like the deluxe kit comes with a filter, modulator, band, bushing kit and popular washers. That is on top of everything in the master overhaul kit.

Question about Build date

Quick question. My BD number on my 4r100 tag says BD 0M 04. What does "M" stand for if I'm not mistaken M is the thirteenth letter of the alphabet. Twelve months in a year? Thanx for your help.
