bought the truck preowned did no have the factory keypad code with it. I can do it at the dealer but they said they would have to hook it up to the scanner to retrieve it and it would be $100. Is there anothe way to get this code? Or is printed in some document somewhere ?

 

IIRC it's on a printed label behind the radio somewhere in the dash. Someone else may know exactly where to tell you to look. You don't have to go to a dealer to get it.

Flipdown lil storage compartment by ur right knee. Open it. Squeeze in sides so it will flip all the way down. Look up in there all the way against the firewall an u should see some white insulation. Move it to the side an u should see a 5 digit number. That's ur factory door keypad number.
