High idle mod

I have wired this up with potentiometer and a resistor and it does not work either way. Any help would be great. I have checked and double-checked and still not sure why it will not work.

Thanks in advance.

The transmission needs to be in Park along with the parking brake set.

Yep I had it in park and the brake set and it was even already warmed up when I tried it.

If I remember correctly, there were two wires that appeared similar in color.
I can't remember if this was for BCP or SEIC though.
If you're sure the connections are good, I would confirm the correct PCM wire was used.

In park with e-brake set and not touching anything, flip the switch and it would normally work (don't touch the brake pedal or accelerator).

Let us know, we'll keep troubleshooting.

I just went and checked all connections and then started truck with brake on and touched nothing else and still nothing. Where is the fuse for the aux switches? Maybe something wrong there but I doubt it since the light on switch comes on.

The switches are powered by the upfitter fuse box (enclosed, above park brake pedal/cable) and the fuse box is then connected to the PCM (or BCM or whatever CM controls this) via a modular plug stuffed way up in the dash along the firewall.
Each AUX switch has a fuse so my guess if the light comes on, it's providing power because the light is there to indicate a closed circuit (somewhere).
