You bet. With all the torque plus smooth and quiet. Camping a few weeks ago in the Tetons we came upon a moose that didn’t move until some noisy diesel (non-ford) pulled up. And really for such a big truck I can’t complain about the mileage.

LOVE IT!!! I wouldn't trade mine on a bet, and the fuel mileage is just the price of admission.

Like Darrell said, for such a huge, heavy truck it's not THAT bad.

Until you consider that trucks weighing 50k plus can get the same mpg lol.

I'm actually getting ready to buy my 2nd V10 here pretty soon, so I must at least like em.

I'm looking at picking up an 02 CCLB 4x4. My last one was an 00 SCSB 4x4.

I would love a new one when my truck rolls over 200k, but it would have to have 400HP and at least 450 ft. lbs. of torque. OOOOOh that would be nice.

I love it and hate it! Love it for the power, hate it because its greedy hand is always in my wallet! It does run smooth and builds power nicely. Better than that 5.4. However if money wasn't an issue a new 6.7 would be parked outside. Its hard to argue 400 HP and 800 TQ at those rpms from the factory. But the V10 uses the KISS principle with not as many expensive parts to fail, but the diesel does have a 100k warranty! I think if the V10 had that warranty it would be unbeatable. So again I love it and hate it.

Without hesitation. 190K miles on my current 2000 Lariat CC 4x4, and the only mechanical issues i have had are a vacuum leak that took me 2 days to find and 2 'burped' spark plugs. Bought it use for $18K in 2002 and have only spent about $900 in repairs. To say that I love my truck would be an understatement.

Love my truck, the gas mileage is just the cause of havin a big toy. You want good gas mileage, the Prius is a good ride. I tow my boat and hear all the time too that the price of gas, the price of gas. Thats just the price of havin fun in my opinion.

im on my second one already..

first one was in a 99 F250 SD reg. cab 2WD.. that truck had the 4:10 ratio and being such a small config. it went like bat out of hell..

almost never shifted out of OD, regardless of hills.

the 03 4WD CC i have now could def. use a gear swap, but i'd prolly just hold out for a 08+ and take advantage of the 3V engine/trans upgrade...

idealy i'd love to find a 09 F250 CC 4WD V10/auto in pearl blue with the ghost flame HD package. that truck is sooooo nice.. both inside and out.

I get this too along with the "what's that cost to fill up, $250" "what do ya get, like 3mpg (in that annoying voice)". Just a way for others to express ENVY I guess ;-). I try not to give a smart "A" response.

Yeah, I try to be nice about it but your right, it is envy when they climb into their Honda Insight and tape their sack back. Sorry for the graphics

Love it, even though I didn't know anything about it before I bought it. I wasn't even a Ford fan(I know I was brought up that way). I just needed a 3/4 ton truck to tow my rv so I could go work in Wyoming in the oil feilds. It was the best truck I could find for the money at the time. But now I am a fan for life. It is even better now that I found FTE.
