question about 1985 f150

I am looking to purchase a 1985 f150. My intention is to have it be as simple to work on as the mid to late 60's version trucks without the computer or emissions sophistication. What would I need do to have the truck run real well with the computer and emissions pulled off? Is it even possible? Thanks.

Do a "search", using the function on the blue bar at the top of the page, and type in "Duraspark 2 conversion" and sit back and read many pages on this topic.
