(hey, that wuz my 'handle' on the bronk forums 2000 - 2009) livin in the frozen N'oreast & playin school/college/semipro hockey 36 yrs.).

Anyway, it wuz the Dana 20 thru the 12 yr. run. 1st 7 yrs. a "T" handled model and the "J" for last 5 yrs. Most like the T, some vendors make mods specific to only 1 or the other. My T has 5 positions, never had the J in a runnin bronk, seems to have 3 positions but I'm sure some 1 will add correct info if needed...
Good to see U here, keep us informed on yer project!

And I (that's a capital letter for emphasis) like the '78/9 F250 and Bronk.

so I have been looking at some of the body parts that I would need if I started to build my bronco and man the front grill and the tailgate are way expensive 600 bucks for each. so I don't know if I will be able to build a bronco or not. i guess I could and just fabricate my own front grill. the floor pans are pretty pricey also so I don't know maybe i won't be building one even though I really want one. might just have to try converting my 78 f-150 to 4wd instead.

might B cheeper depending on how far back U hafta start on the Bronk.
4wd drive frnt clip hasta B cheeper than all (not sure how much U need) the bronk prts.

Not sure were U are but I could trade something for the 2WD frnt axels, knuckles, hub/rotors & calipers...
Got a '77 twisted up grill among the other things in the pile....

I C the grill for $400, rather than the 6 U quote, forgot on the tail gait. Keep lookin, some better prices available from different venders.

well I would basically need everything for the bronco since I can't find one that's in my price range to buy from somebody. I can get the fenders from lmc for a pretty good price but its just the floor pans, the front grill, and the tail gate that would kill the project for me. but I will keep looking around the net and see hat i can find.

Couple options, fiberglass body, complete body, and I think frame is now available from Jeff's Bronco Grave yard(assembly required). Expensive project no matter what directions you choose. You can still buy cheaper than you can build one. There are plenty of them out there, but prices are a lot higher than a pickup truck. It's all about demand and Bronco's continue to be a hot item. A lot of young veterans are coming home with extra money and don't mind spending it.

78=79 Bronco's are still cheaper than 66-77, but gaining in popularity as they get scarcer. I've been watching for one to come along at the right price myself.

make the EB a real off roader, trailer it w/the 78/9. Here's a pic:
/Users/charlesfuller/Desktop/'78Bronk.JPG

I'd put a 'hide-a-way' 5th wheel in the FSB's bed (dual purpose then) for a 22 ft gooseneck (1st 6 ft would B a sleeper). Have the 400M in the FS...

What's yer dream? (There's more 2 mine)
