65 Ford Rebuild

I recently bought a 1965 Ford F-100 with a 352 but wanting to take out the original 4-speed with granny low and wanting to replace with a newer 5-speed manual transmission. Any suggestions on what to use for a transmission?

There are no direct fit trannys manual or auto for the round top FE bell. There are adapters in the $800.00 +/- range. The FE hasn't been install since 76.

I swapped a C6 auto in mine, when I did the power disc brake & steering upgrade.

Speedway sells a bell housing to mount a T5 or TKO 500 or 600 tremec.
