Im sure the truck could use a alignment, it doesn't pull though. But the problem is the steering wheel is turned so my turn signal doesn't work properly. So can i just pull it off and turn in one/two on the spline? i would just have it aligned but money just got tight for a bit.
You have to turn the sleeve on the front steering part, cant remember the name of it,but you will see what Im talking about by looking at the front drag link or steering components. You will loosen the nuts on both ends and turn it to what direction that will straighten the wheel. I tried the steering wheel removal thing thinking the same thing,it will not work ! lol plus if you dop this make sure you plug up your horn and airbag before you reinstall the wheel. i failed to do so,and had to do it all again. # 8 or # 9 is the part Im talking about
The adjustment is made on #9. That is the adjustment collar on the drag link. Doesn't have to be turned much. Just turn it an 1/8 turn to determine steering wheel is moving in the right direction. Don't forget to re-tighten the 2 collar holding bolts when done with adjusment.
