I just picked up a disc brake set for my 55 f100. The calipers are off a 68 thru 70 mustang. Any ideas on what hydraulic brake lines I can use? thanks for any information.

Get one from a 68-70 Mustang then you'll know they will fit; my calipers are from a mid 80's Camero so I use Camero braake hoses.

 

If I am swapping in disc brakes.Any tips on how to change king pins if I have to?

I would change the king pins before installing the disc brakes. You can get a kingpin set from Mid-Fifty which will have everything you need. The axle will probably need reaming before installing the bushings. I would take it to a shop if you don't have a reamer, it would probably be cheaper if you just took the axle to the shop for reaming and put it together yourself. After you put you brake hoses on make sure you have enough room to make full turns L/R. I bolted/welded brackets to the frame for the hoses.
