Buying my first Excursion
Howdy, new to the site. I'm looking at a 2002 Diesel Limited with 134,000. I guess I'm asking for any advice. As far as what to look for and such, or just thoughts in general. This will also be my first Ford lol.

How much do they want for it ?
common problems are sagging springs (you can check to see if it still has bump stops) , worn ball joints, loose steering gear (replacement or adjustment needed) front sway bushings shot

Chip it and you will get 20+ on the highway.......but do your reasearch and read the reviews.....some chips are hard on the transmission ! I just have the canned superchips and get pull 20.....I am looking at an upgrade to PHP (power hungry performance) right now...but I have been pleased with my 1705 for the price....it paid for itself.....
