By the way what all goes into doing the MAF swap? Naturally a MAF and ECU from a 96 model, but what else goes into it? And wouldn't that also make way for being able to use OBDII

Not necessarily.....There are some MAF/OBD-I trucks out there.....
SO it probably wouldn't be that hard would it? Would you have to swap the whole wiring harness? Or could you just add on the harness for the MAF sensor?

I'm assuming it'd be fundamentally easier to simply grab the harness...Than repinning a lotta crap...
Depends on where and how much you can get a donor truck from...Would be easier to simply grab the whole truck.....You can scrap the rest (If its shot) and recoup some $$$....
In my opinions, it would...because then you'd have full control over the spark, fuel, and advance, etc...
My thoughts exactly. Megasquirt would also be alot cheaper and easier to install in my opinion. You dont have to swap the wiring harness. Just wire whats already at the computer into the new unit.
