Everyone says its a waste of money. Truck already has cold air and it gets more air than it ever needs. Use the money to fix the dent in the side. just my .02

The instructions are pretty straight forward you should have no problem, the only snag with mine was the vent line from the drivers side valve cover i thought was too short, it touched the egr tube so i got a longer hose, and the maf harness was alittle short on reaching the tube, i just had to undo the harness mounting tap from the plate where it comes off the fender wall, and I left the rubber boot on the maf plug to keep dirt out of the connector

Oh nice, alright. I might do that then. I would want a bit more power and it sounds like the CAI doesn't do much..
Do you have any experience with aftermarket headers?

If you want to do a CAI, you should search for the GOTTS intake mod. Basically what it does is takes a peice of pvc pipe, and a rubber connecter and uses that to replace the existing snorkle between the fender and the filter box. total cost is normaly around 15 bucks. then get a high quality filter. something like Amsiol i believe is what is commonly recomended. then if you want some extra noise, you can remove the silencer in the stock elbow. somewhere there are some dyno numbers on this mod, and it was only beaten by one CAI and not by very much. Oh and if you look at a truck that has the GOTTS mod, you don't even notice it unless you know what your looking for.
