I just took all the 4x4 stuff off my '97. Reduced weight made it ride about 3" higher. I'm probably going to lower it back by adjusting the torque tubes. But lifting it looks really easy. Adjust torque tubes in front and add a block under the springs in back. Depending on how much you need, you may not even need new shocks. Pitman arm doesn't look to be in any kind of bind. And there is a LOT of room in the wells for bigger tires. Poor mans route but I think it would work well. It is a little squirly that high so stiffer shocks would be nicer.
