Need carb help

I have a 73 F250 highboy with a 4 barrel carb on a small block 390, problem is I need to replace it and can't find a 4 barrel replacement, every shop I've gone to has said the standard is a 2 barrel and they have no idea what else I could use. I don't want to drive the truck to the shop if I can avoid it because of how bad it is, short of showing them I don't know what else to do. Anybody have any idea what 4 barrel carb I need for my truck? I don't want to convert it back to 2 barrel.

Is it a factory carb Motorcraft/Autolite? an aftermarket carb Edelbrock/Holley? what exactly is wrong with it? is it rebuildable or need replacement? need more specifics....

If it's an Autolite 4100 - keep it and simply rebuild it. 4100s are easy to work on.

If it's wearing a square bore manifold, opt for a 600 cfm Edelbrock 1405 or 1406 or a Holley 600 cfm (Jeg's PN510-0-80453).
