Webber 4bbl carb ?'s
Ok I found this carb for 25 bucks. It is a 600 cfm carb. Are webber 4 bbls any good and should I buy it. It worked good before it was taken off. The owner replaced it with a holley.

uhh weber also manufactures edelbrocks as well as carters, and have since the early 80's. many will even say WEBER. weber marked there name on many of them in the mid 80's. never sold well, but are out there. i have a 1406 that says weber on it, as well as the W USA. which by the way is weber usa. as for the rx7(12a) they used the nikki four barrell, as well as the rx6 (13a) and rx5(13a). never did they use a weber, all the way up to the 2nd gen's. i know i collect rx7's.

Weber took the AFB's and redesigned some of the internal passages for Carter to make them run a bit better. I sold a ton of them when I worked in a speed shop years ago. Edelbrock carbs are about the same thing. Good carbs.
