Sooner or later...while you're whizzin' on down the road, the hood flies up! When this occurres, the hinges bend and stretch, so the rear of the hood is now riding higher...above...the cowl panel.
The only real fix is...to replace the hinges.
To close the hood properly, bring it down to about a foot above the upper grille panel then...using both hands, firmly shut it.
