MAN... time changes...

I just love Daylight Savings Time!!!

I wish we could keep it year round. It's nice to come home from work and still be able to sit out on the porch, down a few "Buds" and still have it light enough out to see what I'm cooking on the grille.

Now, if we could only do away with these 88+ days, it would be heaven.......

Hey Dennis - that's fun!!!

How many of you out there are like me and have finally had the time catch up to your clocks? Steve gets ticked at me cause I don't change all our clocks when the time changes. I only change some of them. For some reason this always screws him up pending on which clock he looks at. Of course it doesn't bother him enough to change them himself.

I could really mess with him by leaving our "bar time" porch clock set at the old time. It keeps perfect time, but runs backwards. A backwards clock, a few "Buds" and 1 hr diff. - It just don't get better than that...

I change them as I go to that area.
It drives Michelle crazy to a point<>

She usually doesn't know what day it is never mind the correct time.

MAN... time changes...

Whoever thought up and implemented Daylight Savings Time is my ultimate hero.
I get off at 5, go fishin', or play frisbee golf, then I go home and eat dinner. I still have 2 hours of light to work on my truck, then another several hours of mellow evening to water my lawn and have a few beers.
Summertime is my time

Just move to either Arizona or Indiana, parts of those areas do not use "daylight savings time".

If you really need to know the correct time go to www.time.gov
thats what I always use to set my clocks.

MAN... time changes...

The last clocks that get changed around my house are the ones in the trucks. By the time I have to change them, I have forgotten how it is done. I wish they would make them all the same. Each one is set a different way. But ofcourse, even a broken clock is right twice a day....
As for daylight savings time....I love it too!! I get off work at 2pm every day. It doesnt get dark until about 730. That gives me time to take a nap and then walk to the pond. The only drawback is that it is still dark on my way to work. Oh well, we cant have everything.......

Here's to Summer!!!!

I haven't decided if I like daylight savings time or not. During the week I hate it as i get up around 4am and end up going to bed around 9-10pm. Gets tough going to sleep when it is still light outside and the wife and kid are still up.

On weekends it is great as we get together with the neighbors and just sit outside and drink.

As for the time change effect on the body, I just go into work a little late for the first week until my body gets used to getting up an hour earlier. The joys of having flex hours.
