Although a 2008 E-350 cab, my Holiday Rambler motorhome was purchased new in 2010 and only has 3000 miles on it. Since about the 3rd fuel fill I've had varying degrees of success filling the V10's gas tank. Sometimes it fills completely, sometimes only 3/4 full, and sometimes it only fills at $.25 or $.40 cents at a time before the nossle shuts off. Since we are travelling, the pumps are always different. Any ideas on the problem or what a solution may be? Thank you & best regards, Bill
I just took a look and everything I can see seems in order. No links in the two hoses (a large one for the gas & a small one I assume is for a vent) running a couple of feet from the cap to metal tubing that continues to just before the gas tank. At the end of the metal tubing it returns to rubber tubing that I lose sight of as it goes into the top of the gas tank. Also, there are two oblong slots near the top of the filler cap and they appear to be clear.
Have you actually taken the vent hose loose to check for blockages in it? They've been known to get clogged with debris like spiders, webs, dirt, etc. If the chassis sat around for a while prior to the RV being built, there's a good chance that something has got it blocked.

This is exactly what happened to my 2010 E150. The dealer cleared "debris" from the vent line. They covered it under warranty.
Welcome to the Ford family, I've had this same issue with vehicles all the way back to 1975, it's a vent issue and you can't do anything about it, it's a sealed system for environmental purposes and there in lies the problem. I usually have to click mine about 3 or 4 times after allowing a few seconds for settling, you can't rush it, the humidity increases the problem too.
