fuel pump
does anyone know the difference in the fuel pumps for a vehicle with an in cab tank vs the ones for an outside tank? i have a 68 f100 with the in cab tank but im running a pump from a mustang with the vapor return blocked off. i had too much pressure so i backed it off to 4.5lbs then starting starving for fuel. seems very sensitive to get it just right. wonder if i just need to get a pump for that particular truck instead of my mustang one?

You talking about a mechanical or electric pump?
Shouldn't be a difference in a mechanical pump. They usually just have a fuel in port and a fuel out port.
What vapor return are you referring too?
