Cant get my hood aligned!

I'm having trouble getting my hood aligned after removing it. The back of it by the windshield sticks up about an inch and there is no where, that I can tell, to adjust it. Help!

Do a search in this forum for hood hinge adjustment. The search function usually turns up quite a few threads. Here's one https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...djustment.html

whenever i remove my hood i take a little spray paint to mark the bracket to hood location and never have any trouble. sometimes the right side dips down for some reason and have to pull up on it to get it correct, but lubricating the hinges real good sometimes keeps it from happening.

if you removed the hinges themselves it will take a lot of trial/error. those three or so bolts that attach the hinge to the fender you can loosen just enough so you can shut the hood and move it around with the hood closed and carefully re-open it and tighten them back up, sounds like you need to loosen the back two bolts and barely crack loose the front one and push down on the back of the hood to basically rotate the hinge down in the back. you may have to scoot the hood forward a tad afterwards also

If you had your fenders off, then get them in place first. They will adjust up and down. I had mine off and was having problems, they were off just enough to mess things up. After making sure they were right ,i just kept working with the hinges as stated earlier .
