Pedistal

I was wondering if anybody has the measurments on either the early or late model Pedistals, or both. I got a complete set from a freind that is suppost to be the late model. I know the turbo is but the uppipes measure the same as my early style on the truck. I haven't taken them off yet because I don't want to get in the middle with the wrong stuff. Top to bottom should be alright. Thanks, Chet

the late pedistal is about 1/2 inch taller. you will nead longer pedistal bolts as well as new up pipes for a late model truck.

I know its taller but do you have the height? I ask this because I want to measure the one I have before I take mine apart. I hate to take mine apart then have to wait to order a different pedistal. I tryed to see if I could measure it on the truck but its all but impossible. Thanks Chet

I have the late turbo, spider, pedistal and uppipes but, the uppipes measure the same as the ones on my early 99. At least with it still in the truck. And the pedistal had 99 writen on it. I know the late 99 had the upgraded turbo. Because of the uppipes I'm not sure on the pedistal now. Chet

Thanks Leekingen. If you measure the early pedistal I'll know if I have the write one to update. If mine is taller it has to be the right one. Great

Leekingen, seems we have the same truck. Mine was built 9-98. How do you like the upgrade with stock injectors. Also did the 140v idm make a difference. I had a bad #8 fuel knock just put Clays Frx in it helped a lot. I want new injectors but mit just change that one out first. Do you tow? Just wondering on boost and power. i have the DP tuner and T500 HPOP. The HPOP increased my mpg by two at 78mph freeway and way better power up top. Chet

The plenum is 1 1/4 inch taller then the one you measured so it must be the late one.
