Hello
Im looking into hooking up my engine rly soon and by that i mean getting an intake and a tuner. but theres so many out there i dont know what will be best for this truck. for the intake i was looking at k@n or ame and for the tuner i was looking at the predator. if anyone knows if those are good or knows whats the best for my truck for the most hp i can get that will be great or has any ideas for better intake or tuner that will be awsome
For your v10 performance needs give us a call we can help make the truck run like it should.
See here for more details Got a V10 Ford F250/350/450/550?
Even though there already is a "I Heart Mike @ Five Star Tuning!" thread overwhelmingly he's the first guy to seek out when looking to enhance these V10's. I don't even own a V10 (yet) but if/when I find the E350 I can't resist he'll be my first call as soon as its sitting in my driveway.
What they said. It is rare that any group of enthusiasts agree on one vendor, but Mike's willingness to LEARN about and optimize these trucks make him something special.
Keep in mind that this engine package is not too bad from the factory. Other than the new tune, there are no "easy" power adders. Some vehicles come with horribly restrictive intakes or exhausts and changing them is an easy way to gain big boosts, but not on these trucks. Intakes and exhausts add more noise than power.
If your looking for a tune not sure witch computer you have but I have a 5 star sct tuner I got from mike. also have the y pipe kit never opened. I just sold my truck so no need for it now. has a 87 tow tune 93 tow tune and a 87 performance tune on it. Still have the box sct sticker and cd with it. $400.00 for tuner and exhaust y pipe fix plus the ride if your interested.
