OT - Bulletproof Windshield Protectant
I am seeing ads for this Bulletproof windshield protectant and was wondering if any of you had any first-hand knowledge of the product. I watched the YouTube video of the sales pitch and have looked around on the net at some of the reviews but other than hype I haven't found much info. $25 for the kit which has 4 bottles...cleaner, prep, protectant, and tune-up. One kit is supposed to last a full year...kinda like Rain-X on steroids. We don't get too much rain here in SoCal but the product also claims to resist chips and scratches as well as make water and bugs flow off it. If it works it may be worth the time and $$.

I don't go there any more but even if I did I am sure that this product wouldn't do much good against an AK 47 round.
The hype does say that it works well in the prevention of sandblast damage though.

It would be worth 10x that if it really prevented sand damage. Even more if it repaired existing sand damage.

I need to find a product that I can spray on and it will fix the cracks, sand pitting, protect from future cracks, etc, seal up the weatherstrip, remove dents in the body work, restore the paint, rebuild the interior, reapir worn cylinder rings, reline the brake shoes, etc, etc, etc

...uh......nope...sorry, never heard of them....
...no wait, thats not true, I think I heard a rumor of them from some friend of a friend of a friend. I figured they were just another old wives tale or something like that
