steam from vents
Heay guys when My expedition is running withe the heater/ac off there is steam coming out of the vents, and it has that distinct heater smell, A buddy of mine said that one of his friends had the same problem and it was his heater core had gone out. But he is one of those guys that you never let work on your stuff so I`m not sure what to think. Any help as to where the steam is coming from.
. Will I need a beer afterwards?

You have to remove the entire dash to get the heater core out and the new one in. It's an all day project.

did mine a few months ago. ALL DAY EVENT!!!!! no more steam out of vents. you can get away with just removing the passenger side and dropping the steering column and swinging the dash to gain access to the heater box.
