After going over a double set of train tracks in the nasty weather we are having in FL today I had death wobble at 65mph for nearly a 1/2 mile. The alignment and all the front suspension is in spec. I want to run these 05-07 Ford Super Duty F250/F350 Dual Steering Stabilizer Black with Bilstein Cylinders @Top Gun Customz but it says i need at least a 2" lift. My question is will this work on the truck in my sig or do i need to look at something else? I'm running 315's and otherwise stock. All help is appreciated
It's bolded in red that it won't work with a stock height truck so I'd be looking for something different. Rancho makes a pretty good (from what I've heard) dual stab setup.
I understand what it says. I thought I seen someone around here someone running either those or the icon setup with stock height. I've been searching the forum and cant find it. The bracket for both icon and tgc look the same, icon will work stock and tcg wont. I don't understand whats different.

Reason: more info
I am reasonably sure the Icon fits a stock truck. I have that setup on the '08 with the heavy springs which raises the height a little. They are among my favorite additions and Icon is fabulous to deal with. When I bent one sliding into a curb they overnighted the replacement - off their display!
I was wanting to do the same thing on mine too. I did see a thread on here with a video of the Rancho's, looks like a simple install. He also shows you the before and after going over a huge pot hole. I just can't seems to find that setup for the 11's
I've seen the video. I would like to run bilstines to go with the 5100 shocks soon to be going on. In pictures the tcg and icon brackets look the same. The icons will work with a stock suspension but the tcg (top gunz customs) wont. There is a $100 between the two and unlike some on this forum I'm not made of money. If i can't get a definitive answer by November i'll get the icons. I'm just trying to save some cash.

I'm not stock height, I am just leveled. Also, I have an 04 so I'm dealing with leafs rather than coils. However, when I did my level kit, anything that would be in the way of the Icon kit wouldn't have moved. It was tight fit, with very little clearance, but it's not like you need much as the stiff doesn't really move anyways. I looked at the Top Gun kit, but I wanted the Icon because of where the shock locations were. I'm really having to think hard to get this right, but IIRC the Top Gun kit has both shocks in front of the axle, and it looked like they were a little more vulnerable. I like how the Icon kit located the shocks better. Don't know if it's different for a coil front end, so my memory may be irrelevant...or wrong all together. Anyways, hope that helps some.
99-04 trucks have the stock stabilizer in front of and below the axle on pass side. this is due to the leaf perches. aftermarket setups mirror this on the drivers side
05-07 trucks have the stock stabilizer tucked way up by the pitman arm. aftermarket setups use the drag arm. this places the stabilizer above and in front of the axle
for the 05-07 trucks, the panhard bar is what is causing all the fuss. depending on the way the stabilizers are mounted, the center bracket will hit the panhard bar. this is why 99% of them say you need a lift. the panhard is physicaly higher then and not a problem
Check with Rancho. I remember a thread 2 months back where Rancho was listed as the only company that will fit a stock height. Don't get your heart set on a particular brand IMO. They all do the same thing. Just get whatever is the cheapest and have fun

Icon uses a different bracket on the 05 -12 then the 99 - 04. But thanks anyways i understand what you were getting at.

I know for a fact that the icon set up will work with stock height. The cheapest dual SS i have found is around $150. The tgc with bilstiens is $300 and the icon is $400 with bilstiens.
Here is the icon dual SS and here is the TGC SS Other then the gussets they look about the same and mount the same way in the same spot. I don't understand why one will work and the other requires a 2"+ lift. If anything it should be the other way around the tcg bracket is longer.
