I will be replacing the front ball joints on my 85 f250 chassis but I don't know the gvwr was for the front. When I got the truck the cab was in bad shape so I swapped on a 87 cab and front end not thinking that at some point in the future I may need a specific number on wieght rating.

I am 110% sure on the front axle size since I added a locker and relaced a broken axleshaft I just want to make sure I get the right ball joint do any of you know the part no.'s for the upper and lower Ball joints.
My diesel has the dana 44hd in it, and I was wondering that too, since some part listings alluded to some diesel trucks having heavier axles. I found out that was not the case on my truck, it has the 3 thousand and something axle(is it 3850?) in the front, which means the dana 44hd, which meant the smaller ball joints. The dana 50 ttb must be the one that had the 4 thousand something(4400?) front axle and took the larger joints.
I went ahead and bought my balljoints locally, so I could make sure I got the right thing.
