400 starter problems
man now i am peaved! got my bronco back from the paint shop [if any one could post a pic from my gallery i would thank you as i still cant seem do do it] and have all sorts of trouble with the starter mounts seems the starter bolts lossened up,the guys at the body shop must have tried to turn the motor over, causeing the starter gear to "hit& miss" the ring gear now the plate that goes between the trans bell houseing and the motor is concaved in and the starter does not sit flat on the starter mount,i have one stripped hole on the bottom now it seems i need to remove the motor or move the trans back to remove the plate to straighten it out and helli-coil the stripped threads any one else have this trouble with this combo? 400/c6 i have a front/rear seal leaking any ways,a tork cam,timeing set,,lifters,edelbrock intake,carb to install any ways so that would be the best way to install these parts but i just didnt want to do it right now the other option is to scrap the 400,sell the parts and install a 460 i all ready have
