Just wasn't gonna get into all the details. i am familar with the nhra stuff but don't really follow drag racing much anymore. More of a pullin guy these days. thank for the response. Just thought you would like to know of some ford guys who have been doing it for many yrs. especially gregs dad adrian. If I remember correctly he has won several events back in the day with some of his pullin trucks. good guys to know. thanks monsterbaby. Been friends with these guys for many yrs with the work we do. the smallest engines we deal with are automotive engines. Lots of different fuels natural gas and whatever else comes up the well head. Been doing this trade for 20 yrs now. starting to get good at it, Ha ha! forgot to mention they have several engines to play with in their top fueler, and pullin truck.
Rob, it IS a Boss 429...it's a TAFC, not a fuel funny car. It's a Roberts block with Indy heads, 4.90 bore spacing, Boss valve layout, Greg even spent the extra bucks to have the clutch can use a Ford bolt pattern. NHRA outlawed the combo years ago, and he's ran some IHRA races. It ran a 6.04/238 best years ago in Vegas. He's driving a TAD this year with a conventional Chrysler engine for Kenny Gilmore Motorsports out of Calgary.
