These are the kind I have, which may well be Ford Car types. They are a "cloverleaf" that is dipped in rubber at the holes where the wires go thru. I suspect both are supposed to be used for the driver's side wires, but I used one for the passenger side rear cylinders as part of the "whirlpool" routing I used. (You can see here why a lot of traditionalists don't like the MSD, it really is huge) One thing with the cloverleaf style brackets, no terminal except the stock bare elbows will pass thru them, so I had to build my wires after sticking them thru the brackets. (and someday I'll redo them with blue or gray wires, what can I say, I had the yeller ones on hand)

I did that last week.
Went to NAPA and got a set of 8 wires with factory molded 90 degree plug ends. The kit also included 8- 90 degree rubber caps for the distributor end,8 metal clips, and a pack of lube to aid in assembly.
All the wires are plenty long enough to trim and fit.
I recall it was $22.00
Cheers

Ross, I don't even know if those are actually Ford, I seem to recall that type on a 57 Caddy we had when I was a kid.

Here are the correct holders, part # 12297

I stand corrected. Didn't notice that one before.

I hadn't either, just thought I'd take a look since it was sitting next to me. Note the cloverleaf type has a '50 engineering number, so may have been a 51-52 running change.

Re; plug ends, I've got a couple of really old used sets that have 90 degree rubber boots with a FoMoCo script molded in them.
I don't believe all of them had open terminals on the plug end.
