New guy here! Thanks for such a great site. I have searched around looking for an answer to my questions, but haven't really found what I was looking for. I'm sure my question is common, but i'm curious as to what you may be able to tell me.

249,000 miles. Truck has never had a programmer on it. Never had a seconds problem till 200,000. I had the latest updates installed in the computer after it became hard to crank at 200. Since then, the truck skips pretty good at idle, but runs good once you get above idle. It is becoming increasingly harder to crank...spins great, but is slow to catch and idle. I had it hooked to a scanner and it says my #6 injector isn't contributing. Could this be causing the slow start also? could the IPR be causing that? I changed the ICP a few months ago, because it was leaking horribly. Any ideas?
at 250k theres alot that it could be. have you check to varify glowplugs are working. relitive compression, excessive blowby are all things that can cause this.
its possibel one injector is making things hard but I woudl suspect more is involved.
Thanks for the reply....I haven't verified the glow plugs...I'm in South Ga and it's pretty warm. Could that still be a factor?
it could be on an engine with some wear. easy to check with a volt meter. there is a 4 wire connector for each buss bar. just need to check them there.
Will do..THANKS for the willingness to help.....one more wierd note...changed my oil today, used Rotella T6 synthetic for the first time.....truck runs worse than ever......
