I want to take the suspension lift off my 78 Bronco and put it on my 77 F150. It has Rancho RS5000 shocks and I noticed on Rancho's web site, they require a slightly different model number shock for the F150 vs the Bronco.
What would the difference be? Would it be different enough I would notice if I put the Bronco shocks on my F150?
I would have thought the shocks would be the same for both. I'd set them side by side and if they look the same, have the same amount of travel and are the same length collapsed and fully extended, they're probably OK

I can't do a side by side comparison because my truck is currently unlifted while the Bronco is lifted, although I think they should be the same size wise. I was thinking the difference was probably just in the valving or something that made them handle differently.
Sorry Ken, I must of had one of them brain cramps! I still think they'll work but, I have no facts to back it up. Good luck and report the results if possible.
