Anybody put aftermarket shocks on their van? Options seem limited. KYB is the only ones I can find, besides stock. I'd like to put on some adjustable Rancho RS9000XL shocks on the van for a smoother ride when not carrying any load. I bet that there are some Rancho shocks out there that would work. They probably just need to be cross referenced. I think '97-03 F150 uses the same rear shocks as an E350.
I can't say how Rancho shocks are now but I put a set on my Ford Ranger PU years ago and they were stiff! After two days I took them off and put the stock shocks back on.
I have KYB shocks on my van now. They were put on by the previous owner and I have nothing but good things to say about them. This in on an E-250 and the ride is smooth. I would replace them with KYB again if and when I need to.
