But they are on each end of the front axle, in the U joint right at the hub. (in the hub).

Here is a bad pic of the U joint. The jerk is inside here.
My last truck was an 2006 6.0 and it had the same (2) grease fittings. At 36,000 miles, I took a grease needle to all of the joints that didn't have a fitting. I traded it on 8/25/11 with 110k miles and everything was still tight.
