torn cv boots

I have both inner cv boots torn right where the small clamp squeezes it to the shaft on both sides. Do the cv's come apart so I can put on new boots?

yes you can replace the boots but might as well replace the shaft while ur at it since the bearins are probably dry.

I'm going to try the boots first. I ordered two from rockauto $20 shipped. It seems to easy enough to pull the shafts if I have issues. Just don't want to spend the money if I don't have to. Thanks for the reply

Oh no i understand just make sure you properly grease the cv's
